Adaptive Yoga ~ Based on Iyengar, with a strong focus on alignment, but an ability to adapt for any body.
Energy Medicine ~ Both a complement to other approaches to medical care and a complete system for self-care and self-help.
Flow Yoga ~ The postures continue from one to the next in a flowing style and are held for up to three breaths.
Gentle Yoga ~ Emphasis is on making yoga accessible for most people, even thos with joint stiffness, decreased range of motion, or balance issues. Liberal use of chairs and other props. Seniors welcome.
Happy Hour Yoga ~ TGIF! come jump start your weekend with a fun, energetic class. All levels welcome.
Hatha Yoga ~ The postures of yoga. Emphasis is on alignment and progressing from one pose to another. Poses are explored and held longer with less flowing moves. This gentle class is appropriate for all levels. Classes ususally specify level of ability.
Healthy Back ~ A good starting point for people with chronic back issues or old injuries, who might feel nervous about starting an exercise program. Designed by Dr Zohra, the yoga-based exercises focus on core strength, flexibility, and rehabilitation.
Intro Yoga ~ This class is designed for brand new beginners and those wanting to brush up on the fundamentals of yoga such as alignment, breathing, and general yoga concepts.
Lunchbox Yoga ~ A revitalizing practice that takes place during the meridian hour when the sun is at it's peak radiance. The class focuses on eliminating afternoon fatigue and curbing appetite. Honor yourself with midday rejuvenation!
Meridian Yoga ~ Asian influenced using the Traditional Chinese Meridian System. Same system used in Acupuncture, but without needles.
Nia ~ Nia is a mix of dance, martial arts and the healing arts that provides participants with a holistic movement experience. In Nia we use music, mental imagery, vocalization and visualization to stimulate systemic, whole body movement in a natural way. Individuals are invited to work at their own levels, adapting the experience to meet their personal needs. Its a fun way to increase stability, mobility, agility, flexibility, and strength for everyone regardless of age or level of fitness.
Pilates ~ A form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core and muscle strength, increased flexibility and awareness of the body in order to support efficient movement and improve overall health.
Power Yoga ~ Vinyasa-based with poses of increased difficulty. flowing style. Designed for continuing students.
Pranayama ~ Prana is the breath and life energy, ayama means extension- this practice uses various breathing exercises to purify and nourish the body. All levels welcome.
Qi Gong ~ The practice of cultivating energy and inner peace. CT Holman, LAc will teach forms that are simple yet powerful. Qi gong practice helps to increase stamina, mental clarity, immune function and emotional stability. Please wear comfortable clothing.
TaKeTiNa ~ A moving, rhythmic, meditation which provides a safe container to explore.
Yin Yoga ~ An emphasis on deep stretching, poses are held for a longer time to allow the body to open. Deep and delicious; a wonderful ending to our Power yoga.
Wherever you are in your practice or life, yoga will help you live better-with less pain, more flexibility, more awareness, improved health, more joy. I am passionate about this practice and am honored to share it .
Hatha Yoga is a way to fitness on the short path and is good. With continuing practice, it can be a way to union with God and is divine. The body is a miraculous being and given the right elements and environment, it can heal itself.
Give time for your practice to mature and the fruits will present themselves.
I work as Zohra's chiropractic assistant and teach the Healthy Back classes. I get great satisfaction in helping pleople aleviate their pain.
Energy Medicine Practitioner
Class is Asian influenced using the Traditional Chinese Meridian System. This is the same system used in Acupuncture, only without the needles. Hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (N.L.P.)
Justine is a recent Canadian transplant and professional photographer. She has studied Iyengar yoga for 8 years.
About twenty-seven years ago I started to learn about Yoga and practice Yoga. I have now relocated to Salem, Oregon and would like to share my experience with everyone.
Catherine is excited to be a part of Indigo Wellness center and currently co-teaches Nia with Regina Perez at the downtown studio.
My mother introduced me to yoga almost 25 years ago and I have been practicing it ever since. The Yoga Flow class that I teach will increase your focus, flexibility and stamina.
Regina is happy to offer Nia, which is a combination of yoga, dance and martial arts.
Nine years ago, I found yoga and embarked on a journey of transformation and deepening awareness. My passion is tapping into yoga's infinite healing power and helping others do the same.
I started studying qi gong and Tai Ji (tai chi) at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, in 97. I have practiced and studied qi gong with several teachers and most recently with Master Zhong Xian Wu.
I love that yoga meets you no matter where you are in your life right now. Let it serve you; Your body, mind, and spirit. Let it heal and balance, bring strength and gentleness, expand and return you to your center.

Are you Looking for a Simple Introduction to Yoga?
In the five-class Beginner Yoga Series, taught by Indigo's founder and teacher Zohra Campbell, D.C. new students will learn the basics of yoga, while intermediate and even more advanced students will gain a better, more detailed understanding of the architecture of the poses, as well as the underlying philosophy of the yoga practice.
